Robotics activities will emphasize teamwork, while additional computer experiences will provide opportunities for independent exploration. This class is appropriate both for campers who want an introduction to Lego robotics and for campers experienced with robotics who are eager to work with teammates on new challenges.

Want to use tools to make real things? Woodworking campers will make classic toys and games to play with, in addition to other useful and/or interesting projects to bring home. This is an introductory class that will use kid-powered saws, drills, sandpaper, hammers, and paintbrushes.

Drama/Dance
Join us this summer for a wonderful week of exploring the joys of theater and dance/movement. Enjoy theater games, create characters, and improvise skits, while also moving and grooving though a mix of funky hip-hop, energetic Broadway and more! This class is appropriate for children 7-12 years of age. No experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable, loose clothing.

Sharks--Scary or Sweet?
No matter what your opinion, sharks certainly draw a reaction! Join us as we learn more about these fascinating fishes. You'll research one of the over 300 species of shark, learn more about why some scientists believe many species will be extinct in the near future, investigate shark attacks, and view the insides of a shark! That's right, the best part about this class is the shark dissection. We'll respectfully explore how a spiny dogfish eats, breathes and reproduces in small groups.

Physics and Chemistry
In this class we'll only be doing the most fun aspects of these sciences. Come and build a model rollercoaster as you battle force and friction. Explore common household substances as we learn about pH. Make slime as we explore the properties of matter. You'll be observing, predicting, and experimenting through hands-on activities that are sure to inspire.

Toddler/Caretaker Hour:  Twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) for the 11am-12 hour, two and three year olds accompanied by their caretaker will be invited to their own specially designed program.  Our youngest children will enjoy library story time, an art activity and some supervised play on the PE equipment.  What a great way to introduce the fun we have at school!
